La Venenosa Étnica Tutsi Ciruela is a limited, artisanal raicilla (agave spirit) produced by Don Rafael Carrillo Pizano of the Wixárika (Huichol) community in Tatei Kie, northern Jalisco, Mexico. It forms part of La Venenosa’s Étnica Series, which showcases the traditional agave distillation practices of indigenous groups in remote regions of Mexico.

Tasting Notes

COLOR:
Crystal clear, with viscous tears and silver highlights.

NOSE:
Fresh, fruity agave with subtle ciruela (plum) notes.

TASTE:
Opens with roasted agave sweetness followed by a burst of fruit (stone fruit, green plum, and citrus peel).

FINISH:
Long, mineral, and gently smoky with lingering fruit and herbal complexity.
