Nomad Outland – Single Malt Sherry Cask Finish is a unique whisky that bridges Scotland’s whisky tradition with the rich, fortified character of Spanish sherry oak. Initially distilled as a triple-distilled single malt in Scotland (with some versions blending Irish single malts) under the guidance of Master Blender Richard Paterson and ageing first in traditional barrels, it is then finished in Pedro Ximénez-seasoned sherry casks in Jerez, Spain. This finishing imparts deeply layered dried-fruit and spice qualities while preserving the malt’s core character.

Tasting Notes

COLOR:
Warm amber with reddish tones — a classic hue from extended sherry maturation.

NOSE:
Gentle hints of vanilla, honey and orange peel, with light oak and spice.

TASTE:
Rich dried fruit sweetness (raisins, golden sultanas) layered over caramel and soft spice.

FINISH:
Long, smooth and warming, with lingering notes of dried fruit, gentle oak and sherry sweetness.
