Description
Don Fulano Añejo is a premium aged tequila crafted by the Fonseca family at the renowned La Tequileña S.A. de C.V. distillery (NOM 1146) in Jalisco, Mexico.
Made from 100% estate-grown Blue Weber agave in the Los Altos (Highlands) region, it is distilled and then matured for a minimum of 30 months (i.e., around 2.5 years) in select French Limousin (and Nevers) oak barrels, many of which previously held wines from Burgundy, Bordeaux and the Loire.
Bottled at 40% ABV (80 proof).
It represents the house’s approach to ageing that honours the pure agave spirit while bringing in refined oak-cask complexity.

Tasting Notes
COLOR:
Light copper to amber hue with warm golden glints — reflective of extended oak ageing.
NOSE:
A mix of cooked agave blended with rich oak-driven aromas: vanilla bean, baked banana, dried tropical fruit, subtle menthol/pepper.
TASTE:
Deep agave sweetness up front, then layers of caramel, toasted nuts or pecan, cardamom/allspice spice, dark chocolate, toasted coconut.
FINISH:
Long, lingering: dark chocolate, leather, spice, warm agave presence but with dryness from the wood.
