Description
Alto Del Carmen Reservado is a premium Chilean pisco crafted by the Cooperativa Agricola Pisquera Elqui Ltda. Distilled from 100% Muscat grapes, it undergoes a double distillation and is then aged for approximately six to eight months in American oak barrels. Bottled at 40% ABV, this spirit combines the crisp, aromatic profile of its Muscat heritage with the depth and nuance imparted by oak maturation, offering both approachability and complexity.
Tasting Notes
COLOR:
Light golden-amber hue, warm and inviting, with slight oak-tinged clarity.
NOSE:
Bright floral notes (Muscat blossoms), fresh citrus, hints of wine grapes, melded with nutmeg, toasted coconut, maple syrup, and subtle vanilla from oak.
TASTE:
Smooth and gentle on entry; flavours of lightly spiced fruit (plum, cherry), butterscotch, sometimes bananas drizzled with maple; oak-driven vanilla and toffee notes. Comfortable warmth without harshness.
FINISH:
Lingering, warm, with notes of vanilla, toffee, dried fruit (sultanas / plums), a touch of pepper or oak spice; medium to long in length.
