Westward Pinot Noir Cask is a unique expression of American single malt whiskey finished in French oak wine casks formerly used for Pinot Noir from Oregon’s famed Willamette Valley. Starting with Westward’s signature single malt, this expression spends up to two years in Pinot Noir casks, allowing vibrant red fruit influence, subtle tannin, and wine-inspired complexity to meld with the whiskey’s rich malt backbone. Bottled at 45 % ABV (90 proof), this craft release celebrates the Pacific Northwest’s winemaking tradition while showcasing Westward’s whiskey-making expertise.

NOSE:
Fruity and inviting, with orchard fruit, fresh tobacco, and a touch of green grass on the nose.
TASTE:
Red fruit-driven character with notes of raisin, fig, and apricot, complemented by rich malt and subtle earthy spice from the wine cask influence.
