Description
A premium Bordeaux-style red blend crafted by Claire and Gonzague Lurton at Trinité Estate (Chalk Hill AVA, Sonoma). Composed of 100% Cabernet Sauvignon the 2016 vintage was hand‑harvested and aged for 16 months in French oak (approx. 80% new). The vines grow on volcanic‑clay soils, organically farmed with minimal irrigation.
Tasting Notes
COLOR:
Medium to deep ruby-purple, visually intense.
NOSE:
Rich and expressive, with black cherries, blackberries, violets, cedar, dark chocolate, coffee grounds, exotic spices (cinnamon, clove), and subtle meaty/mineral nuances.
TASTE:
Medium-full body with a vivid core of dark fruit, firm yet silky tannins, dusted with cocoa and earthy spice, underpinned by fresh, wet-stone minerality and graphite.
FINISH:
The finish is long, structured, and harmonious.
