Description

This is an 11-year-old Tennessee-style bourbon whisky independently bottled by TBWC. Distillery is undisclosed, but it is labelled as Tennessee whisky (so subject to the “Lincoln County Process” charcoal-filtering prior to ageing) per TBWC’s description. The label artwork (as is typical for TBWC) features a sugar-maple-on-fire motif referencing the charcoal-filtering process underpinning Tennessee whiskey.

Tasting Notes

NOSE:
Caramelised brown sugar, toasted oak, creamy vanilla.

TASTE:
Caramelised nuts open, followed by rich buttery oak char, vanilla bean, and a hint of earthy tobacco.

FINISH:
Oaken vanilla persists, with ginger spice and a final touch of maple sweetness and the charred cask’s cigar-box bark.
