That Boutique-y Whisky Company’s Speyside #4, 26 Year Old is a mysterious and elegant single malt from an undisclosed but very large Speyside distillery. A cask laid down in October 1998 has been carefully aged for 26 years, resulting in a limited release of just 201 bottles, bottled at 45.8% ABV. The bottling is part of TBWC’s “Some More Bigger & Boutique-ier” range, featuring their signature whimsical label design. Because the source distillery remains unnamed, TBWC teases with a clue: it's from “one of the two largest malt distilleries in the world” after a recent expansion.

Tasting Notes

NOSE:
Bright, summery character: juicy barley and soft vanilla.

TASTE:
Creamy and smooth mouthfeel, with generous vanilla custard.

Long, with lingering woody spices.
