That Boutique-y Whisky Company’s Laphroaig 16 Year Old is a distinctive independent bottling from the iconic Islay distillery, Laphroaig. Aged for 16 years, this whisky is matured initially in refill hogsheads and then finished in ex-Oloroso sherry barriques. Bottled at 45.8% ABV, it's a limited release — only about 234 bottles were produced.

Tasting Notes

NOSE:
Delicate but complex: strawberry jam, earthy walnuts, and fragrant cigar smoke.

TASTE:
Rich and creamy malt character, with roasted chestnuts.

FINISH:
Zesty pink grapefruit and oaken vanilla.
