Description

Part of the USA Series, this bourbon is bottled under That Boutique‑y Whisky Company and originates from Ironroot Republic Distillery in Denison, Texas. Distilled from 100% Bloody Butcher heirloom corn, it was aged for 2 years in new charred oak barrels (Char 1 – Heavy Toast) and bottled at 56.9 % ABV, non‑chill‑filtered and at natural colour. Only 242 bottles were released in Batch 1.

Tasting Notes

NOSE:
Nutty cornbread and barbecued sweetcorn lead, complemented by pinewood sap, burnt sugar, clove, cinnamon, and a hint of menthol.

TASTE:
An oily, mouth-coating texture reveals toasted nuts, toasted bread, chocolate‑covered cherries, cedar, demerara sugar, and subtle liquorice layers – with warming spices emerging as it develops.

FINISH:
Lingering cedar, pepper, a touch of licorice, and sweet baking spices.
