FEW 6 Year Old Batch 5 is part of That Boutique‑y Whisky Company’s USA Series, featuring a collaboration with FEW Spirits in Illinois. This expression is a 70% rye, 20% corn, 10% barley mashbill, initially matured for six years in American oak before being finished in a Port cask. It was released at a bold 63.6% ABV, non-chill-filtered and naturally colored, with just 398 bottles produced.

Tasting Notes

NOSE:
Freshly baked rye bread, roasted coffee beans, honeyed sweetness, and a subtle menthol note with chalky grist undertones.

TASTE:
Rich and complex: dark chocolate, blackberry jam, stewed forest fruits, leathery oak, and bold rye spice, all softened by Port cask sweetness.

FINISH:
Lingering stewed berries, cacao, cracked black peppercorn, and a warming oak richness that persists gracefully.
