Empire Rye 2 Year Old Batch 1 marks TBWC’s debut in their Rye Series, blending Empire Rye from nine New York State distilleries under the region’s protected standard. Aged for two years, bottled at 50% ABV, non‑chill-filtered and naturally coloured, this expression was limited to approximately 685 bottles.

Tasting Notes

NOSE:
Rich and inviting, opening with caramelised banana syrup, warm rye toast, roasted peanuts, desiccated orange peel, vanilla, and oak spice.

TASTE:
Creamy and coating—over-ripe banana on rye toast, orange marmalade, menthol mint character, followed by warming wood spice and grainy rye intensity.

FINISH:
Medium length, finishing on dark chocolate oranges, menthol mint, vanilla, subtle wood spice, and dry herbal spice tones.
