This is a limited release single malt from the Speyside distillery Dailuaine, bottled by That Boutique-y Whisky Company. According to the official source: it was distilled in July 2010, matured initially in a refill hogshead and then finished in a first-fill ex-bourbon barrel.

Tasting Notes

COLOR:
Pale gold / light straw colour — typical of a 9-year Speyside malt from refill/finishing casks.

NOSE:
Fresh banana or green bananas, vanilla, pancake batter and fresh grains.

TASTE:
Soft sweetness: vanilla, honeyed cereal, fresh barley.

FINISH:
Smooth, with lingering vanilla/cereal sweetness and a hint of oak spice.
