That Boutique-y Whisky Company’s Armorik Batch 2 – 5 Year Old is a limited-edition single malt whisky from the Armorik Distillery (Distillerie Warenghem) located in Brittany, France. This distillery is known for producing France’s first single malt whisky and for aging its spirit in a cool maritime climate similar to parts of Scotland.
Batch 2 was bottled at 49.8% ABV in a limited run of 1,220 bottles (500ml each).
Cask type: French oak and ex-bourbon casks, with some sherry cask influence noted in TBWC’s release notes.
The label artwork continues TBWC’s playful style, featuring Breton cultural motifs—baguettes, armor, and the Breton flag waving proudly above a coastal scene, celebrating the French whisky renaissance.

Fresh and malty with green apples, honey, salted caramel, and a hint of sea breeze. Some spice notes (nutmeg, cinnamon) and toasted oak develop with time.
TASTE:
Creamy texture with sweet cereal, toffee, vanilla fudge, and orchard fruits. Mid-palate adds baking spice and light maritime salt—a nod to Armorik’s coastal aging. Hints of almonds, oak spice, and subtle chocolate.
FINISH:
Medium length with sweet malt, oak spice, and gentle salinity. Slightly drying with lingering vanilla sweetness and toasted nuts.
