This Epris 11 Year Old Batch 1 is That Boutique‑y Rum Company’s debut bottling from Brazil’s Epris Distillery (located in São Roque, ~20 miles west of São Paulo).
Distilled from sugarcane juice using a continuous column still, it was matured for 11 years in American white oak ex‑bourbon casks before being bottled at 54.4 % ABV at cask strength—just 394 bottles were released.
Non‑chill‑filtered and naturally coloured. This release marks Boutique‑y Rum’s first direct venture into Brazilian rum.

Tasting Notes
NOSE:
Candied nuts, honeyed sultanas, zesty dried pineapple and citrus peel, with light herbal tea and menthol undertones.
TASTE:
Chewy golden‑syrup flapjacks, crisp green apple, boiled sweets, syrupy pancake notes, with subtle sawdust or oak‑shavings beneath.
FINISH:
A warming combination of cough‑candy anise, cloves, and drying oak/pencil shavings—with mineral and herbal notes leading to a lingering spice.
