Talisker 8 Year Old Special Release 2024 is a limited-edition Scottish single malt whisky from Talisker Distillery on the Isle of Skye, bottled for Diageo’s 2024 Special Releases “Spirited Xchange” series at its natural cask strength (~58.7% ABV). Aged for 8 years, this expression is finished in oak casks that underwent a distinctive stone-spun and light re-toasting process, which gently polishes and renews the barrel char before maturation. The result is a bold, maritime-infused whisky that captures the rugged spirit of Talisker’s coastal home with a layered and expressive flavor profile.

NOSE:
Strong maritime character with sea spray, wet stone/mineral notes, and coastal brine; fresh citrus (lemon zest) and vanilla tucked beneath light smoke.
TASTE:
