Distilled in November 2003, this expression was matured for 13 years in a first-fill sherry butt and bottled in October 2017.

Tasting Notes

NOSE:
The aroma presents beeswax, greasy metal tools, and a subtle hint of peppery peat. Gentle sherry notes emerge, including raisins, toffee, candied ginger, and a touch of salted caramel.

TASTE:
On the palate, it is big and pungent, with flavors of ginger, nutmeg, and citrus peel. Notes of dates, berries, herbal sweets, and metallic hints are also present, along with espresso and leather undertones.

FINISH:
The finish is long and slightly smoky, with lingering caramel sweetness, bitter oranges, and wood spices.
