The Springbank 2003 12-Year-Old Port Pipe is a distinguished single malt Scotch whisky that showcases the distillery's commitment to traditional methods and innovative cask maturation. This expression was distilled in April 2003 and matured exclusively in a single port pipe for 12 years before being bottled in April 2015.

Tasting Notes

NOSE:
Rich aromas of dark chocolate, orange peel, and coffee, complemented by subtle hints of sherry and sweet dry hay.

TASTE:
A full-bodied mouthfeel with flavors of pink peppercorns, crunchy red berries, and the characteristic salty brine and earthy smoke of Springbank. Additional notes include dark fruits, spices, sultana raisins, and cocoa.

FINISH:
Medium to long, featuring rich sherry and fruit notes, with lingering hints of homemade redcurrant and rosemary jelly, salted cured meat, earthy pink grapefruit, black grape skin tannins, and late peppery spice.
