Description
The Summit” is Silver Heights’ flagship Bordeaux-style red blend, reflecting the ambition encapsulated by its name—drawn from an ancient Chinese poem symbolizing the spirit and reach of Ningxia. Typically composed of 65% Cabernet Sauvignon and 35% Merlot, the grapes are hand-harvested from high-altitude vineyards (~1,200 m), cold-macerated, and vinified with indigenous yeasts. It’s aged for 12–18 months in a mix of new and seasoned French oak before filtered using traditional Bordeaux methods.

NOSE:
Aromas of blackcurrant, blackberry, smoked meat, cocoa, vanilla spice, shiso leaf, pu’er tea and forest savouriness.
TASTE:
Full-bodied and structured. Rich dark fruit—black plum, black cherry—evolve into savoury layers of mushroom, ash, black tea and espresso.
FINISH:
Firm, refined tannins and notable minerality lead to a long, layered finish.
