Description
Crafted by Emma Gao at high altitude (~1,200 m), this 100% Pinot Noir is part of Silver Heights’ Jiāyuán (“Homestead”) range. Grapes are hand-harvested early to preserve freshness, wild‑yeast fermented in open-top tanks, then aged 12–16 months in French oak (around 80% new), unfiltered for natural expression.
Tasting Notes

Light ruby with an orange rim.
NOSE:
Aromas of cranberry, dried cherry, strawberry, mushroom, forest floor, vanilla, and cinnamon peek through.
TASTE:
Medium-bodied and elegantly poised, showing red and blue fruits—cranberry, tart cherry—interwoven with sous-bois, gentle ginseng bitterness, and subtle spice. Silky tannins and bright acidity lend finesse.
FINISH:
Clean, lingering, herb-tinged, with earthy-mineral depth and refined spice.
