Tasting Notes
NOSE:
Balanced and sophisticated Islay smoke. Smouldering bonfire embers, seaweed, iodine, and coastal breeze, layered with dried fruit, walnuts, and dark chocolate from the Oloroso influence.
TASTE:
Powerful yet rounded. Campfire smoke, BBQ ash, roasted malt, and sea salt, evolving into sherried sweetness, prunes, raisins, and toffee. The extra age brings smooth oak tannin and subtle spice (clove, nutmeg).
FINISH:
Long and warming, with smoky oak, cocoa, espresso, and maritime salt. Gentle sweetness lingers with hints of dried figs and peat ash.
