Vistaña Cabernet Sauvignon-Merlot is a Chilean red blend from Viña Santa Carolina, hailing from Chile’s Central Valley. This generous 1.5 L “magnum”-format bottle is ideal for sharing or special gatherings. The wine brings together the structure and depth of Cabernet Sauvignon with the softer, fruit-driven warmth of Merlot, yielding a balanced wine that is approachable yet has enough character to appeal to lovers of richer reds.

Tasting Notes

COLOR:
Deep ruby red, with a good level of saturation and a hint of garnet at the rim.

NOSE:
Rich red and dark fruit aromas dominate — blackberries, cherries, perhaps black currants — intertwined with violet floral notes. There may be subtle herbal or floral undertones.

TASTE:
Fruit‐forward with flavors echoing those on the nose: cherries, blackberries, dark berries. The Merlot component softens the structure, giving smoothness, while the Cabernet provides backbone and tannins that are present but not harsh. The tannins are round and reasonably smooth.

FINISH:
Finish is pleasant and lingering.
