The 2021 Quilceda Creek Cabernet Sauvignon (Columbia Valley) is a luxurious, full-bodied expression of Washington State’s terroir and craftsmanship. Comprised of 100% Cabernet Sauvignon—90% from Champoux Vineyard and 10% from Mach One Vineyard—it was aged for around 20 months in new French oak. The wine displays a deep, opaque purple-black hue that signals its intensity and elegance. Critics across the board hail it as one of Quilceda Creek’s finest releases ever—“arguably the finest ‘Columbia Valley’ Cabernet Sauvignon that I have ever tasted,” says Owen Bargreen.

NOSE:
The aroma opens with lush and ripe core fruits—blackberry, black cherry, and plum—delicately layered with floral notes like rose petals, sandalwood, and violet, plus exotic spices, mocha, graphite, and loamy earth.
TASTE:
Rich and opulent, yet finely structured. Dominated by black fruit flavors, gentle clove and espresso spice, graphite undertones, and a savory mineral element. Despite its power, the wine retains a silky texture and vibrant acidity.
FINISH:
Persistent and refined, with expansive fruit, delicate oak spice, and a polished, persistent finish.
