The Planteray Vintage 2008-15 yr (Belize) is a limited-edition rum from Travellers Liquors in Belize. It was distilled in 2008 from molasses on a multi-column still at the Travellers facility.
It then underwent 13 years of tropical ageing in Belize (in ex-bourbon casks) followed by 2 years of continental finishing in 350 L Ferrand-cognac casks in France.
The bottling strength is 48.3% ABV (70 cl) in many markets.
It belongs to Planteray’s Vintage Collection (Terravera/One-Time Limited Editions) and is described as strongly limited in production (e.g., 19 casks mentioned in one source) making it of interest to rum enthusiasts and collectors.

NOSE:
Opens with the rich aroma of aged bourbon-cask wood, spicy cinnamon, vanilla bean, nutmeg and roasted almonds.
TASTE:
A smooth texture with flavours of caramel, toffee, ripe pear & citrus, coconut, pepper and cloves.
FINISH:
Long, warm finish featuring dried fruit (cherry), vanilla, coffee, toasted oak and light herbal/vegetal tones.
