Pintia is a bold and powerful red wine from the Toro region of Spain, produced by Bodegas y Viñedos Pintia, a winery owned by the prestigious Vega Sicilia group. Made from 100% Tinta de Toro (a local clone of Tempranillo), this wine embodies the rugged character of Toro’s terroir while maintaining the refinement and elegance that Vega Sicilia is known for. Aged for approximately 12-15 months in a combination of French and American oak barrels, Pintia showcases a masterful balance between structure, fruit intensity, and aging potential.

Tasting Notes

Deep, almost opaque purple-red color.

NOSE:
Intense and complex aromas of ripe blackberries, plums, and cherries, interwoven with notes of licorice, dark chocolate, and hints of smoky oak.
