Description

Nittardi BEN is named after Beniamino (“BEN”), the cherished youngest child—a fitting tribute to the estate’s first white released in 2012. Crafted from 100 % Vermentino grown on sandy, granite- and clay-rich soils at 250 m above sea level, just 8 km from the Tyrrhenian coast in Southern Maremma. The microclimate and terroir bring a crisp, saline freshness with Mediterranean character.

Tasting Notes

COLOR:
Vibrant straw yellow with golden reflections.

NOSE:
Aromas of peach, honeydew melon, citrus peel, exotic fruits, white flowers, sage, quince, and subtle wisteria.

TASTE:
Medium-bodied and balanced, it delivers citrus-laced zest, creamy texture, saline minerality, and hints of apricot or almonds.

FINISH:
Finishes with bright acidity and a slight phenolic edge.
