Description

Belcanto is a harmonious Chianti Classico crafted from 90% Sangiovese, rounded by 10% other indigenous grapes like Canaiolo, Colorino, Malvasia Nera, Ciliegiolo, Mammolo, Foglia Tonda, and Pugnitello. The fruit originates from two organic vineyards: one at 450 m in Nittardi and another at 270 m in San Quirico, both set on Galestro and Alberese soils enriched with limestone, clay, and schist—lending it marked minerality. Fermentation is stainless steel–based, followed by 12 months in used French oak (500 L) and large “botti” (3500 L), with additional bottle aging to refine the expression.
