Mauro Molino's Barolo Gallinotto is a distinguished expression of Nebbiolo, sourced from the Gallinotto vineyard within the Berri MGA in La Morra, Piedmont. Situated on calcareous clay soils at higher elevations, this site benefits from optimal sun exposure and cooling alpine breezes, contributing to the wine's freshness and complexity. The winemaking process involves fermentation and maceration in stainless steel tanks, followed by aging for 24 months in a combination of 50% used barriques and 50% large casks, resulting in a wine that balances power and elegance.
