Description
Mastrojanni, founded in 1975, is one of the benchmark producers of Montalcino in Tuscany. The Rosso di Montalcino is made from 100% Sangiovese Grosso (locally known as Brunello), sourced from the estate’s vineyards planted in rocky, clay-rich soils at altitudes of 180–420 m.
The Rosso is vinified in stainless steel, then matured in large Slavonian oak casks for around 7–12 months, aiming to preserve freshness, bright fruit, and an approachable structure while showcasing the terroir’s elegance.
