Luxardo Bitter Rosso is an Italian red-bitter aperitif/liqueur crafted by Luxardo (Girolamo Luxardo S.p.A.), a historic Italian distillery founded in 1821.

Tasting Notes

COLOR:
Clear bright scarlet-red colour.

NOSE:
Blood-red orange and zesty ruby grapefruit.

TASTE:
Syrup-sweet at entry, then a pronounced bitter-herb backbone (gentian, wormwood) balanced by sweet citrus peel (blood orange zest) and rhubarb.

FINISH:
Lingering bitter-citrus aftertaste, with pithy orange zest and herbaceous bitterness.
