Loca Loca Blanco is a tequila crafted from 100% highland agave in Jalisco, Mexico. It is unaged (Blanco), meaning it aims to highlight the pure flavors of agave and the terroir without barrel influence. The brand is co-founded by people spanning India and Mexico, aiming for a fusion of cultures and flavours, marrying Mexican tequila traditions with some Indian spice/aromatic sensibilities.
The production includes hand-picked agave, slow cooking in brick ovens and autoclaves, extraction via roller/screw mills, natural fermentation (wild yeast in some variants), and double distillation in stainless pot stills. No additives are used. It is bottled at 40% ABV (80 proof).
