L’Encantada GNAC VSOP is a French Armagnac from the historic Gascony region, crafted and selected by the independent negociant team at L’Encantada. While “GNAC” refers broadly to Armagnac in local dialect, a VSOP designation means the youngest eau-de-vie in the blend has been aged at least 4 years in oak barrels (a typical standard for VSOP in brandy). This bottling expresses classic Bas-Armagnac character — rich, aromatic, and elegantly matured — with depth and approachability suitable for both sipping and premium cocktails.
Tasting Notes
COLOR:
Warm amber with light bronze reflections — a sign of oak ageing and gentle oxidation.
NOSE:
Balanced and inviting with notes of vanilla, dried tobacco leaf, mild oak spice, and soft fruit. Expect underlying rich orchard fruit aromas with a hint of subtle cocoa or baking spice from wood influence.
TASTE:
Smooth and rounded, showcasing mellow oak, honeyed fruit, and a touch of citrus peel. Layers of spice (gentle cinnamon/clove), roasted nut, and quince or dried fruit develop, harmonising with the warm brandy base.

Balanced with a lingering oak-spice warmth, refined sweetness, and a touch of dried fruit complexity. The finish is moderately long and elegant.
