Joseph Cartron – Thé Noir, also labelled Thé Noir Fumé (Smoked Black Tea), is an artisanal French liqueur from the famed Maison Joseph Cartron in Nuits-Saint-Georges, Burgundy, France. Crafted using premium Lapsang Souchong whole black tea leaves that have been traditionally smoked over spruce wood, this expression infuses rich smoky notes with subtle floral elements from jasmine flowers added during drying. Blended with a neutral sugar beet spirit and a measured touch of sugar, the result is an intriguing and elegant liqueur that celebrates the deep, smoky character of tea in a refined, sippable form.
