Joseph Cartron Crème de Myrtille de Montagne is a French wild blueberry liqueur (crème) expertly crafted by Maison Joseph Cartron, a family-run distiller-liqueurist from Burgundy, France, with a heritage dating back to 1882. This liqueur is made from hand-harvested wild bilberries (myrtilles) collected at high altitudes (800–1,000 m) in mountain regions, where the berries develop intense flavour and aromatic concentration. Only the most aromatic berries are selected, freed of leaves and stems, macerated slowly, and then sweetened to create a rich, fruity crème at 18 % ABV.

Opaque with deep ruby tones, and noticeable viscosity on the glass after swirling.
NOSE:
A discreet yet inviting aroma of sweet and candied blueberries, which becomes much more pronounced with a gentle swirl.
TASTE:
Balanced and expressive, with a fresh fruit character that evokes biting into juicy wild blueberries. The sweetness and freshness are well-harmonized, giving both fruit intensity and refreshing lift.
FINISH:
Smooth and lingering, with a pleasant, fruit-driven finish that stays true to the vibrant blueberry flavour.
