Joseph Cartron Crème de Cassis de Bourgogne is a classic French blackcurrant liqueur made in Nuits-Saint-Georges in Burgundy, France, by the historic liqueur house Maison Joseph Cartron, which has produced artisanal fruit liqueurs since 1882. It’s crafted using the noble Noir de Bourgogne blackcurrant variety grown on the Grand Cru slopes of Burgundy, macerated over several weeks to extract colour and flavour before being blended with sugar to create a rich, deep fruit-driven liqueur. This expression carries the Protected Geographical Indication (IGP) “Crème de Cassis de Bourgogne”, signalling authentic terroir and fruit quality.
