Unlike traditional dark chocolate liqueurs, this expression starts with cocoa beans sourced from small family farms in the Ivory Coast, which are lightly roasted, crushed, and macerated with neutral spirit before gentle distillation and blending with sugar to highlight cacao character while keeping a clear, colorless profile.
