Jean Roi Cap Provincial Rosé is a premium South African rosé crafted in the classic dry style inspired by the celebrated rosés of Provence, France. Produced at the historic L’Ormarins Estate by Anthonij Rupert Wyne, this elegant rosé honors the legacy of French Huguenot settler Jean Roi, who first planted vineyards in the Cape over three centuries ago. The wine is pale copper-pink in colour and delivers a refined balance of vibrant fruit, refreshing acidity and a crisp, dry finish.

Tasting Notes

Delicate pale salmon/copper pink hue that immediately draws the eye.

NOSE:
Alluring bouquet of peach blossom, honeydew melon, and hints of citrus zest.

TASTE:
Bright and vivacious with juicy flavours of ripe melon, nectarine, apricot, strawberry and raspberry. It’s medium-bodied, with refreshing acidity that lifts the fruit and delivers a zesty lemon twist on the palate. Gentle lees influence adds texture and subtle complexity.

FINISH:
Clean, dry finish with lingering citrus peel and subtle mineral notes.
