Description
A hallmark Cahors Malbec from a historic estate established in 1830, Clos Triguedina reflects both terroir and tradition. Crafted from 100 % Malbec (85 %–100 % depending on vintage, often blended with up to 15 % Merlot) on limestone-clay terraces by the Lot River; this cuvée is part of Baldès’ project to express terroir through distinct plots, certified High Environmental Value.
Tasting Notes

Dense, inky ruby-purple
NOSE:
Intense black fruit—blackberry, plum, black cherry—plus violet florals, licorice, spice, tobacco-leaf, and pencil-shavings.
TASTE:
Full-bodied, generous fruit, smooth and rich with juicy but firm tannins. Flavors of dark berries, spices, earthiness—with French oak softening.
FINISH:
Long, edged with spice, licorice, and minerality.
