Description

Cuvée No. 747 is part of Jacquesson’s signature "700‑Series"—non-vintage but vintage-based, released with minimal dosage. The 747 is built around a 2019 base, supported by mature reserve wines, blending 45 % Chardonnay, 31 % Pinot Noir, 24 % Pinot Meunier. Grapes come from premier and grand cru vineyards across Aÿ, Dizy, Hautvillers, Champillon, Avize, and Oiry. Vinified in oak vats, it spends over 4 years on the lees, with a fine dosage of 1.5 g/L, unfiltered and unfined to preserve purity.

Tasting Notes

COLOR:
Pale golden with fine, persistent mousse.

NOSE:
Aromas of citrus zest, quince, pear, brioche, white pepper, mint, and a touch of toast.

TASTE:
Fresh and textural, with vibrant acidity. Flavors of lemon confit, tangerine peel, dried yellow fruits, graphite and saline minerality. Balanced richness with a creamy, nutty undertone.

FINISH:
Long, pure, and chalky; fresh and elegant with a refined, lingering profile.
