Jacquesson Cuvée No. 746 Extra Brut Magnum is a non-vintage Champagne that showcases the house’s commitment to single-vintage-based cuvées. The base wine is from the generous 2018 harvest, complemented by reserve wines from previous years. This cuvée is a blend of Chardonnay, Pinot Noir, sourced from the Grand Cru villages of Avize, Oiry, and Hautvillers. The wine undergoes fermentation in oak vats and is aged on its lees, with a dosage of 2 grams per liter. Approximately 9,770 magnums were produced.

Tasting Notes

COLOR:
Pale gold with a persistent, fine mousse.

NOSE:
A complex bouquet of ripe orchard fruits, citrus zest, brioche, almond, dried flowers, and a hint of spice.

TASTE:
Medium to full-bodied with a creamy texture, showcasing flavors of baked bread, ripe apple, and a touch of citrus. The wine is fleshy with an enveloping core of fruit, a pinpoint mousse, and a delicate, perfumed finish.

FINISH:
