Description

This unique white Rioja comes from a single historic vineyard, Finca El Regalo, in Villabuena de Álava, Rioja Alavesa. Planted in 1936 and registered in 1940, the old vines in this parcel include primarily Viura and Malvasía (plus a few traditional local white varieties) in a tiny micro-terroir on shallow clay-chalk soils. This wine carries the Viñedo Singular designation — the highest vineyard-specific classification in Rioja, reserved for exceptional, traceable plots showing distinct terroir identity and low yields under strict viticultural standards.

Tasting Notes

COLOR:
Bright straw yellow with subtle grayish reflections.

NOSE:
Highly aromatic and complex — notes of manzanilla, ripe pineapple, white truffle, almonds, white pepper and spice build a layered bouquet.

TASTE:
Unctuous, expressive and very aromatic, showing mature white fruit, toasted almond, gentle spice and white pepper.

FINISH:
The wine’s lively acidity provides balance, lifting the fruit and spice into a long, harmonious finish.
