This premium Pinot Noir is a single‑vineyard selection from the Alcazar Castle vineyard in Adelaide Hills, South Australia. Heirloom Vineyards harvests only the best bunches by hand, natural open fermentation with 50% whole bunch, and pressing via traditional basket press. The wine is matured for nine months in a mix of seasoned and first‑fill French oak barriques. It’s sourced from old‑vine, carefully tended vines and embraces sustainable viticulture practices.

Tasting Notes

COLOR:
Medium ruby, translucent yet dense with youthful vibrancy.

NOSE:
A complex bouquet of wild strawberries, blackberries, cherries, violets and herbal nuances, with hints of spice and cedar from oak aging.

TASTE:
Silky, fine-grained tannins frame pure pinot fruit—cherry and berry—layered with lavender, herbs and toasty notes.

FINISH:
Acidity is lively, with an ultra-lengthy savory‑herbal finish.
