Description

Giovanni Rosso Barbera d’Alba is produced by the family‑run estate in the heart of Serralunga d’Alba, Piedmont. Made from 100% Barbera harvested in early to mid‑October, the wine undergoes 10–15 days fermentation in stainless steel with délestage, followed by aging in large 50 hl oak barrels for a few months. The style is both traditional and accessible: medium‑bodied with expressive fruit, vibrant acidity, and oak integration.

Deep ruby red with violet hues.

NOSE:
Ripe plum, raspberry, blueberry, with delicate floral (wisteria/violet) and spice hints.

TASTE:
Juicy, medium‑bodied and fleshy, with pronounced bright acidity and a chalky tannin structure supporting black cherry, light spice and subtle oak tones.

FINISH:
Clean and lingering, balanced by savory depth and energetic fruit.
