A stylish South African Bordeaux-style blend from Flagstone Winery in Western Cape, crafted from roughly 40% Cabernet Sauvignon, 40% Shiraz, and 20% Petit Verdot grown on granite soils in Robertson. After a year in French oak, it yields a rich, multi-layered wine with a deep ruby core and lighter edge.

Tasting Notes

COLOR:
Deep ruby with a slight watery rim.

NOSE:
Aromatics reveal blackcurrant, cassis, mulberry, persimmon, and herbal buchu and juniper.

TASTE:
Layered and elegant, with rich mulberry, cassis, and mocha. Subtle vanilla and spicy oak lift the mid-palate.

FINISH:
Medium to long, smooth tannins, elegant oak spice and earthy nuance.
