Description

Espectacle del Montsant is a benchmark single‑vineyard red hailing from Montsant, Catalonia. Crafted from 100% old‑vine Garnacha (Grenache), the grapes are sourced from century‑old, steep clay‑limestone vineyards and hand‑harvested. Vinification includes cold maceration and fermentation in large French oak vats (4,000–4,500 L), followed by 14–16 months aging in the same vessels.

Tasting Notes

COLOR:
Ruby red with purple/bluish hues.

NOSE:
Perfumed and elegant, with fresh red fruit, blood orange, raspberry, violets, spicy peppercorn, and floral (rose/orange blossom) notes.

TASTE:
Medium to full-bodied, silky and energetic, showing pure black and red berries, truffle, citrus peel, bittersweet spices, and seamless fine tannins. Brilliance of acidity keeps it fresh and structured.

FINISH:
Long and clean, with lingering notes of violet pastille, bitter orange, subtle oak spice, and fresh fruit.
