Description
A classic ultra premium Russian vodka, Stolichnaya Elit is made using freeze filtration, which was patented by the SPI Group (one of the world's largest drinks companies, and also the owners of Stoli). The process involves filtering the vodka at -18 degrees Celsius. The result is a stunningly smooth vodka with an wonderful flavour of aniseed and spice.
Tasting Notes
COLOR:
Crystal clear, full clarity, with a slight viscous appearance and good “legs”.
NOSE:
Clean and fresh, subtle grain and cereal character, perhaps a hint of almond or faint pepper.
TASTE:
Smooth and well-rounded: soft malt and grain sweetness, very low bite. The freeze-filtration aims to remove harshness.
FINISH:
Finish is clean and lingering yet gentle — perhaps with a very mild pepper or almond note in the background.
