This 100% Pinot Noir is vinified from fruit sourced in Ladoix (site called “Les Cloud”) — Domaine Prieuré Roch decided to bottle it under the looser Vin de France designation in generous vintages (e.g., 2022) to preserve yield and fruit expression. Certified organic and biodynamic, the wine is made with minimal intervention, including indigenous yeast fermentation and aging in neutral vessels—resulting in a pure, terroir-driven style.
Tasting Notes

Bright, light to medium ruby.
NOSE:
Seasonal red-fruit aromas—cranberry, sour cherry, pomegranate—with earthy and herbal suggestions. In some cases, slight volatility that integrates beautifully with decanting.
TASTE:
Energetic and fresh, with vibrant acidity and silken (though young) tannins. Flavors of tart red berries, spice, dried herbs (think rosemary, thyme), and a lovely pepper-and-clove lift. Some spice-driven tension and chalky tannins add character.
