Description

A 100% Pinot Noir from the estate’s exclusive 6-hectare Clos des Varoilles monopole in Gevrey-Chambertin Premier Cru. Vines are old-clone (30–100 years), certified organic and biodynamic. The wine is crafted via gentle, mostly whole-cluster fermentation, aged ~18 months in French oak, then bottled unfined and unfiltered—offering a pure expression of its terroir.

Tasting Notes

COLOR:
Light to medium ruby—visually elegant and transparent.

NOSE:
Layers of ripe cherry, raspberry, pomegranate, rose petal, and violet, with subtle earth, forest floor, and spice from oak aging.

TASTE:
Medium-bodied with silky, refined tannins and fresh acidity. Red and dark berry flavors mingle with truffle, forest-floor, subtle mineral tension, spice, and a delicate oak overlay

FINISH:
The finish is long and elegant.
