Description

Domaine Philippe Livera. The Pinot Noir grapes come from their own vineyards in the lieu-dit "Préau", in the village of Brochon which borders Gevrey-Chambertin.

Fermentation is spontaneous, using only indigenous yeasts, while the wine is aged in French oak barrels for between 11 and 18 months depending on the vintage. This 2019 Côte de Nuits-Village expresses a nose of black and red summer berries, liquorice, light earth and baking spices. Smooth, with medium tannins; flavours of red berries red berries, juicy plum.
