Domaine de Vauroux Chablis 1er Cru Montmains is a refined and expressive white wine from the Premier Cru tier of the Chablis appellation in northern Burgundy, France. Made from 100 % Chardonnay grown on Kimmeridgian limestone–clay soils with excellent south-facing exposure, this wine combines classic Chablis minerality with a touch of richness and complexity. Vines average around 35 years old, and careful vinification — including fermentation in stainless steel and extended lees time — results in a wine that is vibrant, concentrated, and elegant, with admirable aging potential.

Golden yellow with bright clarity — a sign of both finesse and concentration.
NOSE:
Aromas of lime, lemon and green pear mingle with delicate hints of dried and ripe fruit and a subtle chalky minerality characteristic of its Kimmeridgian terroir.
TASTE:
Medium-bodied and vibrant, the palate shows crisp citrus and orchard fruit, combined with a rich, round texture and pronounced minerality that lends energy and lift. Notes of peach and hazelnut add complexity, while bright acidity keeps the wine refreshing and balanced.
FINISH:
A lingering, slightly chalky finish with citrus peel and saline undertones.
